Abigail Hoferitza

Ms. Abigail joined LSMA admin team with years of experience in music education. Her delightful personality coupled with her love for music and helping students make her a wonderful member of the LSMA team. The following is her musical bio.

Ms. Abigail is a classical pianist from Utah and has studied piano since the age of 3. She began classical training at 15 and has continued to pursue music education throughout her life. Ms. Abigail has been invited to play in several honors recitals for Weber State University and the Utah Music Educators Association for Northern Utah. While in Utah, Ms. Abigail studied and performed with the Davis High School Marching Band on saxophone and returned as drum major her senior year. Ms. Abigail specializes in Early Childhood Music with experience teaching students from the ages of 4-12, both privately and in small groups. She taught general music classes for Explorations Academy Elementary in the 2022-23 school year. Ms. Abigail strives to give her students the space and opportunity to develop as musicians comfortably. She believes that all students have the capability to learn music as a language and as a discipline while continuously finding new ways for the student to become excited about music.
