Lexi Moreno is a Dallas-based multi-instrumentalist with a passion for music education and performance. Since 2018, he has been dedicated to shaping young musical minds as a private strings instructor around the metroplex. Lexi has taught students of all ages, encouraging creative problem-solving and musical experimentation to keep learning fun and refreshing.
From the age of 10, Lexi began his musical journey learning songs by ear on the radio. He honed his passion through the classical string instruments and guitar, leading him to UNT to begin his collegiate studies. In Denton, he found the opportunity to explore many styles of music that gave him a wider perspective. His experiences include classical performance, many rock and indie bands, the UNT Afro Cuban ensemble, the UNT Chinese ensemble, the UNT Jazz String lab, the Chinese folk music group Huo Feng Trio, and many recording sessions. Lexi has recorded music for composers Leon Lacey, Roy Cotton II, Quentin Moore, and various with friends.
Lexi's artistry extends beyond the classroom, as he actively contributes to the vibrant music scene in the DFW metroplex. With a rich and diverse musical background, he brings a unique perspective to his teaching, providing students with a well-rounded and enriching educational experience.
