Reagan Garza is a multi-instrumentalist, writer, arranger, and educator. He started as Music Education major at UNT but eventually earned a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Saxophone. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Jazz Voice at UNT. He is a private student of world renowned vocal educators Rosana Eckert and Jennifer Barnes. Reagan has worked with Grammy nominated artists such as, Nicole Zuraitis, Laila Biali, Darmon Meader, Jacob Collier, Micheal Mayo, Voces8, Benny Benack III, and Bria Skonberg.
During undergraduate at UNT, he was contracted to perform with DCI (Drum Corps International) and also worked as an intern specialized in teaching students with autism as a part of his Music Education major program.
As an educator, Reagan has over 7 years of teaching private lessons. With several of his students earning places in Texas All-State band. As an ensemble director, Reagan led the UNT Contemporary Music Ensemble, also known as the Zebras, to win a Downbeat award in 2023. He has also been a part of the award-winning vocal jazz group The UNT Jazz Singers for two years. He is proficient in teaching voice, piano, saxophone, clarinet, flute, trumpet, and trombone and he accepts students as young as age 3.

Mr. Reagan is so excited to teach at Lone Star Music Academy and looks forward to meeting new students to help guiding them for musical success.
