Classical guitarist Noe Garcia is on the cutting edge of a new generation of guitarists. Noe’s warmth and musical sensibility have earned him admiration from audiences nationwide and abroad. He is known for his versatility in a wide range of musical styles and frequently arranges and performs in a variety of settings including Baroque, World music, Jazz and Pop.

Noe’s recent concert engagements have taken him to Carrion de los Condes (Palencia), Spain to perform as part of the Camino Artes concert series. Most recently, Noe traveled to China for the second time and performed a series of concerts in Qinhuangdao, Jinan, Dalian, Suzhou and Beijing with his guitar trio, Trio Resonance.

He has performed in master classes for world-renowned artists such as Manuel Barrueco, Pepe Romero, Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, Beijing Duo, Zoran Dukic, and is a top prizewinner in competitions including the 2018 New Orleans International Festival & Competition in New Orleans, Louisiana; 2017 Florida Guitar Festival & Competition in Tallahassee, Florida; 2016 Appalachian State Guitar Festival & Competition in Boone, North Carolina; 2016 Wilson Center Guitar Festival & Competition in Brookfield, Wisconsin; 2016 University of Louisville Guitar Festival & Competition in Louisville, Kentucky and the 2015 Southern Guitar Festival & Competition in Columbia, South Carolina.

Noe is also an avid guitar educator and is currently working on doctoral studies at the University of North Texas where he was awarded a teaching fellowship. Noe earned his music education degree from the University of Texas at Brownsville under the direction of Dr. Michael Quantz and Dr. Jonathan Dotson. In 2015, he completed his master’s in performance from Columbus State University where he studied with internationally recognized guitarist and pedagogue Dr. Andrew Zohn.

As music performer, student, and teacher, Noe knows the importance and huge impact music education has had on his life. He believes that music education can be critical to a person’s educational growth and development. Noe’s goal is to instill a sense of life-long love of music, while working on practical skills and true musicianship. His aim is to help create the next generation of independent, not only musicians, but thinkers. Noe aims to share his own love for music with people of all ages and believes that it is essential in this diverse and growing global society.
